Full Job Description
The HR Business Partner serves as the key business partner and trusted advisor for our Hastings, England site. They will provide strategic partnership, leadership and counsel for their business leaders. With a deep understanding of the business objectives, you will be able to translate site strategies into people goals and drive the execution in close partnership with the broader Aerospace, Defense & Marine HR team. Responsibilities

- Partnering with leadership teams to proactively identify, analyze and prioritize critical business challenges and deploy appropriate HR solutions.
- Understanding business cycles and talent needs of the organization to develop 'people' strategies to build the capability and flexibility of the workforce to meet business goals.
- Serving as part of the Business Unit (BU) HR team to lead the delivery of strategic talent, organization design and organizational effectiveness support across the Hastings site.
- Develop a site-specific strategic workforce strategy in partnership with site leadership to accomplish BU goal alignment.
- Partner effectively with the HR Solutions organization and HR COEs to effectively lead the successful delivery of the HR services required to drive the business imperatives of the site.
- Contribute to the realization of the HR operating model with the objective of continuously improving HR performance and enhancing HR's ability to support the site's growth goals and objectives.
- Drive, in partnership with the HR Solutions team, the employee engagement and culture of AD&M BU and TE.
- Assists and supports positive workforce culture, with insights and action plans from our annual Every Voice Counts Engagement Survey, by addressing concerns between management and staff to improve employee relations.
- Apply the six sigma (TEOA) principles and tools to continuously improve HR processes and services.
- Create and deliver change management plans, timelines and communications for key initiatives to ensure successful implementation and support for employees and leaders.
- Provide coaching and support to leaders, especially on key initiatives and business challenges and HR processes.
- Champion and drive all HR Programs & Processes (compensation planning, performance calibrations, etc.) at the plant level to align to corporate and Business Unit guidelines for the annual talent calendar.
Bachelor's degree required. Masters highly desired. HR related major preferred. - Minimum 5 years of professional working experience in HR environment, especially within Business Partnering space.
- Proven track record in Talent Management, Organization Design, Change Leadership, and Organizational Development
- Ability to influence, lead and drive execution, with close partnership with the broader HR function
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, international, matrixed organization
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including negotiation, influencing, collaboration and communication skills
- Business Acumen (understand how the business works from customers and markets to operations and financial points of view) in creating value for the business
- Process orientated and sense of urgency.
- Union experience is desirable but not essential.
- Proven experience managing high-volume and complex Employee Relations issues, including handling grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Financial acumen and business savvy with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data, budgeting, and forecasting to drive HR strategies and decisions effectively. Competencies Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation #LI-ONSITE
