Our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organisation partner with a range of global customers, working closely with major airlines such as British Airways, easyJet, Wizz Air, Iberia, Vueling, Air Canada, Etihad and Qatar. What will I be doing? Your role as HR Business Partner will require you to partner with functional leaders, ensuring delivery of the organisational strategy and business objectives through the people agenda. Providing expert HR support across the full employee life journey, and supporting broader HR initiatives to transform the HR landscape and positively impact the organisation, culture and people, for today & the future.   • Alongside leaders, address key challenges and provide solutions around absence, turnover and employment relations to create a positive social climate.
  • Advise on the full range of routine and complex HR issues and develop preventative strategies to minimise cases.
  • Coach people leaders to support employees and embed a performance and talent development culture
  • Work in partnership with expert HR teams (C&B, T&D) to deliver key initiatives and maximise HR expertise delivered to the business
  • Be a change agent and champion key programs of change
  • CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
  • Drive innovation within HR and implement new HR initiatives, ensuring they are effectively embedded in response to specific business requirements
  • Identify and lead opportunities for improvements to HR activities and business performance through the people agenda
  • DATA & REPORTING
  • Report on key HR data metrics, monitor trends and work with managers to identify strategies for improvement
  • Analyse internal & external data to develop and inform the people agenda for the function, and HR, for today and the future

    Educated to at least Level 3 (AS/A Level or Level 3 qualification), ideally relevant degree level 2:2 or above
  • Professional Qualifications:
  • CIPD Level 5 or above
  • SKILLS (Essential)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in HRBP role.
  • Demonstrable experience of driving change & value-add solutions in a HR generalist role
  • Ability to develop, build and maintain credible and effective working relationships at all levels providing constructive challenge where appropriate
  • Excellent communicator, able to understand and appreciate different and opposing perspectives and adapt accordingly
  • Results focused, coupled with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Commercial awareness and its impact on the environment in which the business operates, to anticipate the impact on the workforce.
  • Excellent written and IT skills, including HRM systems and analytical ability
  • Self-starter, able to work on own initiative, whilst a collaborative team player
  • Comfortable working operationally as well as strategically
  • SKILLS (Desirable)
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (or similar) and working with Trade Unions and/or experience in an international matrix organisation, influencing stakeholders at all levels would be an advantage
