Are you an experienced HR professional ready to take on a pivotal role in a growing organisation? Sulzer's Services division is seeking an HR Business Partner for our UK North Region. This remote role, which includes some regional travel, offers variety and scope, operating as a regional leadership team member, partnering the Regional Director and supporting the wider regional business. As one of only two HRBPs in the Services UK & Nordics organisation, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the organisation's development and people strategy, supporting approximately 350 employees across the North UK, as well as the UK & Nordics Sales and Commercial teams.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Partner with Regional Directors to drive and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives, focusing on the development and transformation of the organisation.

  • Lead key strategic people projects across the region, including organisational development, talent management, and succession planning, ensuring alignment with Sulzer's global vision.

  • Provide expert HR support and guidance to management teams at 8 Service Centres across the UK, Norway, and Denmark, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.

  • Manage complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with local employment laws and Sulzer's policies, while promoting best practices across all locations.

  • Act as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders, supporting them in driving performance, managing change, and developing their teams effectively.

    A proven track record as a HR Business Partner, ideally with experience in a multinational, matrixed organisation, and within a service or engineering environment.

  • Strong experience in organisational development, with the ability to manage and deliver strategic HR projects that drive business transformation.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and across different cultures.

  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset, with the flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
