Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group's people strategy in line with business objectives. We facilitate talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement., We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as a HR Business Partner in Wealth and Private Banking, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve business targets.

The role will report to the WPB Head of HR in HBUK partnering executives to drive business performance and organisational change with a view to achieving the business' strategic priorities. The role will be responsible for the delivery of elements of the WPB strategic people plan.

In this role you will:

  • Partner with executive stakeholders to drive business performance through the execution of the strategic people plan.

  • Own the succession plans for leadership and critical roles, actively developing our talent to enable the delivery of our business strategy.

  • Build skills and capabilities against current strategic initiatives as well as identifying the skills of the future.

  • Build strong relationships across the HR function, broader centres of excellence and business stakeholders to leverage the expertise and services required to build sustainable people initiatives.

  • Develop and deploy initiatives that create business value through collaboration with Centres of Excellence and HR Consultants, focused on outcomes-based solutions aligned to specific business objectives, leveraging functional global products where relevant.

  • Demonstrate personal focus on business outcomes; building and maintaining the status and visibility of a trusted adviser.

  • Coach and develop business leaders, facilitating provocative discussion, building leadership capability and authenticity.

    Working as a HR Business Partner with experience of partnering and coaching senior executives.

  • Experience leading the execution of the HR elements of the WPB People Plan to enable business delivery and performance e.g. Inclusion/Performance/Leadership and Talent/Skills development.

  • Experience as HR sponsor with strong knowledge of organisational design and change to support transformation programmes across the business, working with colleagues in HRC/HRA/ER to support delivery.

  • Experience as People Risk Steward to senior executives with delegate accountabilities.
