Full Job Description

Reporting to the Head of HR, this role sits within the Corporate Services Directorate which provides professional support to the organisation, consisting of Office Management, Engagement and Public Affairs, Communications, Human Resources, Finance, Information Governance, MI Analysis and Digital Project support and delivery.
The role will have some core responsibilities, but activities will vary according to business need, providing the job holder experience across the range of professional functions. The post holder will provide a range of Business as Usual (BAU) and directorate support activities, with a particular focus on daily post duties when in the office alongside wider administrative support.
Key duties
Reporting to the Head of HR the role will:
HR
+ Manage the onboarding of new employees through issuing of offer letters, contracts, new starter forms etc
+ Complete day one new starter inductions
+ Issue staff with amendments to terms and conditions
+ Maintain the accuracy of the HR information system by updating existing staff records and setting up new staff profiles
+ Coordination and support of L&D and Performance reviews
+ Take ownership of the HR email inbox and assist with the Recruitment email inbox, dealing with emails where possible and escalating to the Senior HR Officer or Head of HR as required
+ Inform IT Suppliers of new starters, leavers and department changes
+ Assist with the coordination of training sessions where necessary
+ Assist with the coordination of recruitment activity where necessary
+ Wider HR administrative tasks including data presentation and support for training
Admin Support
+ Work with the Facilities and IT Support Manager to complete induction set up
+ Open post on delegated days in the office to ensure post is opened and designated appropriately.
+ Working flexibly across Corporate Services as necessary and any other duties that may reasonably be required.

The Pensions Ombudsman has an exciting opportunity for an HR and Corporate Services Officer to join our team based in Canary Wharf, where we currently operate an agile working policy. You will be working full or part-time on a fixed-term contract for 12 months and will receive a competitive salary of £30,198 per annum pro rata.
