Full Job Description

Join us at the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) as a HR Data Insights and Rewards Manager. This role offers you the chance to make a significant impact by managing a small team and collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver pay and reward within MaPS, provide data-driven recommendations, ensure compensation integrity, and drive HR digital transformation.
You’ll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to helping people across the UK improve their financial wellbeing., The HR Data Insights and Rewards Manager will report directly to Corporate Director of HR Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for:
Team Management:
+ Oversee a team of HR specialists, providing mentorship and professional development.
+ Foster a collaborative environment to meet team and organisational goals.
+ Data Analytics & Reporting:
+ Design and develop workforce and reward analyses.
+ Use data analytics to provide actionable insights for HR and business leaders.
+ Maintain the accuracy and integrity of HR data.
+ Own the Remuneration and Staff Report for the company’s Annual Accounts.
Pay and Reward:
+ Update and maintain job architecture and pay ranges.
+ Lead the annual pay review process and manage compensation strategies.
+ Oversee benefits contracts and provisions.
HR Systems and Technology:
+ Advance HR systems, focusing on digital transformation.
+ Configure and maintain HR systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
+ Manage HR system integrations with other business systems.
Stakeholder Management:
+ Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders.
+ Act as a trusted advisor on HR data, insight, and pay and reward matters.
+ Communicate complex data insights effectively.

To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
+ High levels of data literacy with advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
+ Significant experience in data visualisation, analytics, and workforce planning tools.
+ Advanced MS Excel skills are essential; Power BI development is desirable.
+ Strategic thinking with a focus on innovation and process improvement.
+ Ability to translate analytical requirements into actionable criteria.
+ Experience in developing workforce and pay models.
+ Capability to provide technical pay and reward advice.
+ Technical expertise or aptitude to lead on integrations between HR, IT, and Finance., Successful candidates must undergo a criminal record check.
People working with government assets must complete baseline personnel security standard (opens in new window) checks.

Flexible Working
At MaPS, we take pride in our flexible approach to work. As standard, we work on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week. Hybrid working is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and our headquarters in Bedford will be your contractual place of work. The number of days that anyone will be able to work at home will be determined primarily by business needs, but personal and other relevant circumstances will also be considered. If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working, including whether a hybrid working arrangement is suitable for you, will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post.
