Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Location: Milton Keynes - MK9 1EA Hybrid working pattern, 37.5 hours a week DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced HR professional to play a vital role acting as a trusted advisor to the business, while aligning HR activities to the business strategy. We are looking for a HR Data Specialist, someone with a high skill level within POWER BI and a true passion for data. The overall aim of the role is to maintain the integrity of the organisational structures and data in MyHR and other related People Services systems You will provide appropriate, accurate and timely People Services and people management information for line managers and the HR team. Additionally, you will provide high quality, consistent advice, support and resolution to managers, employees and outside parties, in order to maximise customer efficiency, effectiveness and confidence. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the Data Services strategy to maximise cost effectiveness, align with business needs, comply with legal requirements and reflect current HR best practice bench marks
  • Provide high quality, consistent advice, support and resolution to managers, employees and outside parties in relation to organisational data, in order to maximise customer efficiency, effectiveness and confidence.
  • Ensure a high level of confidentiality is maintained in all aspects of work.
  • To understand all relevant performance indicators and use performance information to continually improve services.
  • Build effective networks and work in partnership with HR colleagues and managers to ensure that issues relating to organisational and employee data are identified and solutions provided.
  • Oversight and management of the accuracy of organisation data within MyHR (e.g. organisation units, jobs, positions, reporting relationships and effective dating) and interface to systems in the People Services portfolio.
  • Oversight and management of the integrity of HR organisational data and reporting relationships.
  • Working with Business HR, manage and deliver the organisational data management aspects of organisational change including the build of new organisation structures and the population of people data to ensure accuracy of organisational data, MI and security in a timely manner.
  • Create, maintain and delimit org. units, jobs and positions on MyHR in accordance with business requirements.
  • Manage the maintenance and deletion of 3^rd party and contractor records in MyHR.
  • Provide guidance and advice to line managers relating to the organisational data management aspects of organisational change to ensure accuracy of organisational data, MI and security.
  • Provide relevant MI for People Services internal efficiency and governance data.
  • Produce and maintain "How To Guides" in relation to organisation data management.
  • Provide management information to the business, support the business in using/interpreting management information and develop new management information to meet business needs.
  • Research, analyse and deliver management information using MS Tools, such as PowerBi to the business and external parties, support the business in using / interpreting management information (MI) and develop new MI to meet business needs.
  • Provide support to line managers and HR in efficient usage and interpretation of management information
  • Working with the Service Performance & Development team, support the planning and implementation of solutions, with MyHR & People Services workflow systems when appropriate, within budget, policy and legal constraints
  • Provide relevant management information for People Services internal efficiency and governance data
  • Ensure that all employee data is entered in a timely, accurate and consistent manner
  • Oversight and monitor data input into MyHR and where appropriate audit the data input
  • Design mechanisms to improve the quality of data input if appropriate
  • Manage periodic organisational data cleansing exercises in conjunction with the business and the HR Business Partner
  • Support the testing of any upgrades/amendments to MyHR HR/Payroll to ensure compliance and ensure detailed, auditable documentation is maintained at all times, e.g. test plans, test results, fault logs, enhancement requests, etc.
  • Establish standards for auditing data quality and employee records
