We have an exciting opportunity to join our successful and growing business in the new role of HR Development Manager. Our business has grown consistently over recent years and with continued growth in the plan, we have a requirement for an experienced HR leader to support the senior management team to strengthen and develop our people. This is a new position in the business so presenting an exciting opportunity for an experienced people-person to support developing all aspects of the HR function to the next level, taking responsibility for our 150 people over 3 sites., As the HR / People Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind strategic HR planning, collaborating with senior management to align HR strategies with our overall business objectives. From recruitment and staffing to employee relations, training, and development, you will ensure the implementation and application of HR policies and procedures.

  • Strategic HR Planning

  • Recruitment, Resourcing, and Capacity Planning

  • Training, Development, and Retention Schemes

  • Apprentice Schemes

  • Performance Management and Objectives Setting

  • Payroll, Compensation and Benefits

  • Employee Engagement

  • Develop our People Brand

  • HR Legal Compliance

  • HR and Payroll Systems and Technologies Development

  • Key role in the Senior Management Team

    HR or related professional qualifications, ideally CIPD level 7

  • Proven HR background with strategic development abilities

  • Demonstrable performance management and growth business experience

  • Experience in project management

  • Solid understanding of employment legistlation

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Approachable but calm and assertive
