About the role: We are looking for a highly personable, and tenacious senior HR leader to help shape the future of a fast-growing international business. You will be responsible for HR strategic projects, HRIS, HR Reporting, Stakeholder Management, performance appraisals, compensation and benefits, leadership development, employer branding, reward, remuneration and recruitment. This is a hands-on role - you will not be successful unless you have initiative, drive and are prepared to get involved in every aspect of their operation. You need to be the sort of person who can deliver on strategic projects and quickly gain the respect of the SME and key stakeholders. You will be supported by a small but experienced team of seven HR professionals. Key Responsibilities:
  • Guiding and advising managers on all aspects of international HR laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with the executive team to drive the global HR agenda and contribute to business success.
  • Lead projects aimed at improving HR data reporting, processes, and systems.
  • Engage with and support stakeholders with the development of their international teams.
  • Develop and champion a performance-driven culture with a merit-based performance appraisal system.
  • Advise on recognition and reward programmes, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Oversee training and career development programs to ensure growth and retention.
  • Devise and lead projects aimed at improving HR reporting, processes, and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with international employment laws and stay ahead of regulatory changes in all operating regions.
  • Working in partnership with the operational management team to ensure effective objective setting & performance reviews.
  • Guiding and coaching managers on all employee relations including disciplinary, grievance and performance management.
  • Guiding and advising managers on all aspects of international HR laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and lead a team of HR generalists to provide first-line HR support to the international business.
  • About you: You must have:
  • A degree / post graduate qualification.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent.
  • International HR experience ideally gained in a pharma / regulated industry.
  • Experience of working at senior HR Operations Manager level / HR Director level within a fast growth, commercial environment.
  • Strong IT, data, and technical skills.
  • Data driven - ability to interpret data.
  • Ability to present confidently to stakeholders.
  • An Influential character with a positive, commercial mindset.
  • Strong HRIS systems experience.
  • Experience of SAP Success Factors would be advantageous.
  • Experience of designing and delivering on HR initiatives.
  • A superb people manager, experienced in managing, motivating, and developing a HR team.
  • The skills and credibility to effectively coach and advise directors and senior executives.
  • The ability to leverage data and logic in support of making a business case.
  • High degree of self-confidence with the ability to challenge.
  • Collaborative with an enabling coaching style.
