Kickstart Your Career in Human Resources at the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead as an HR Trainee!, As an HR Trainee, you will be supported throughout an 18-month apprenticeship programme that provides practical experience across various HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, and learning and development. You will also work towards achieving a CIPD Level 3/5 qualification to help you develop into a well-rounded HR professional.

Support, guidance, and training will be given to the post-holder to assist in the effective delivery of responsibilities. You will be mentored by senior HR professionals and collaborate closely with other teams to deliver HR services across the organisation.

What you can expect from the programme:
Our HR Trainee programme offers rotational placements across the HR function, allowing you to gain exposure to key areas of HR operations.

You'll get involved in tasks such as:
Supporting recruitment campaigns, including advertising roles and liaising with recruiting managers.
Assisting with onboarding processes for new employees.
Providing guidance to managers on HR policies and procedures.
Helping to manage employee data and records in the HR system.
Coordinating training and development opportunities.
Supporting employee relations cases, including note-taking during meetings.
Contributing to projects such as staff engagement initiatives and policy reviews.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
An organised and proactive approach to work, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
