Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 plus car and benefits

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced HR Manager to join our Human Resources function at Senior Manager Level based at our site in Shotton. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for leading and implementing the people plan for teams across the Tata Steel Colors site.

Make a tangible impact
As the HR Manager in our Tata Steel Colors site, you will be a key part of the Human Resources department and serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on employee matters. You will provide expert guidance and support, ensuring that HR policies and practices are deployed in a fair and consistent manner.
As a business partner and integral member of the Operational management team for Shotton (Colors), you will be responsible for driving the people agenda both directly and through enabling management ownership and accountability. You'll need to understand business needs, propose HR Strategies to support organisational goals, and ensure effective implementation of HR policies and programmes within the area of responsibility.
The role also contributes to development and deployment of HR Policy and practice for Tata Steel UK.
Your key accountabilities will include (but are not limited to):
-Developing and leading the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy and providing insights and recommendations on HR issues and trends to support business objectives
-Providing guidance and support on all HR matters as well as providing insights and recommendations on HR issues and trends to support decision making
-Assessing and recommending organisational changes to ensure that the capacity and capability of the business area can meet the challenges of its strategy and integrate with the strategic workforce plan
-Leading and facilitating employee information and consultation processes, collective bargaining and negotiation within the partnered areas
-Working with Management Teams to identify talent needs and develop strategies for talent acquisition, development, succession and retention
-Providing leadership in respect of developing a capable and competent workforce in line with local and business needs, leveraging support from the appropriate points of expertise
-Coaching and developing management teams to improve leadership capability and enhance performance
We see your potential
As a HR Manager you will need a degree or equivalent in HR or Business, preferably with a Masters in relevant field.
Preferably you will be a member of CIPD with a proven track record in HR Business Partnering.
For the role you will also need:
-Strong business acumen and understanding of business operations
-The ability to think strategically and align HR initiatives with Operational and Commercial goals
-High ethical standards and ability to handle confidential information
-Strong ability to work with various stakeholders across both HR and Business disciplines to effectively manage HR service delivery
-A broad HR knowledge base and an in-depth understanding of business operations
-Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
-An ability to navigate and manage change effectively
-To be adept in applying professional knowledge and experience to the operational challenges facing the business and developing people plans which bring real business benefits
