Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team and take ownership of HR operations across our markets.
Reporting to the Executive team, you'll provide expert HR advice and support to management, ensuring that policies and processes are effectively applied while identifying and addressing people-related risks.
You will play a key role in shaping the company's culture and people strategy, ensuring that regional needs are considered and integrated.
Additionally, you will lead and support initiatives designed to attract, hire, retain, and develop a talented workforce, contributing to the business's ambitious growth plans.
This fully remote position requires a high level of autonomy and the ability to take ownership of your work, managing your workload independently., + Oversee the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, maintaining smooth HR processes aligned with company objectives and legal requirements.
+ Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency across all markets.
+ Address and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring alignment with employment laws and HR best practices.
+ Provide guidance and support to managers and employees to promote a positive and productive environment.
+ Coach and build the capability of line managers to anticipate and preempt issues, including facilitating effective feedback and performance management.
+ Identify opportunities to enhance HR efficiency and effectiveness across Europe and Africa.
+ Oversee employee record management and manage annual leave administration.
+ Coordinate and compile monthly payroll updates, covering new hires, terminations, promotions, and other adjustments.
+ Proactively monitor employment law updates across regions, ensuring policy compliance and coordinating with external advisors as needed.

+ CIPD Level 5 qualification or a degree in a related field is preferred.
+ Broad experience in HR operations, including employee relations, policy creation, recruitment, and process enhancement.
+ In-depth understanding of UK employment law, with the ability to interpret laws in other countries. Existing knowledge of employment regulations in Africa is an advantage, but not a requirement.
+ Internal recruitment experience.
+ Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, up to C-suite executives.
+ Adaptable and able to make decisions, set priorities, and plan effectively while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
+ Ideally, experience in a startup or scale-up environment.
+ Understanding of the betting and gaming industry is a plus.
