The HR/OD Business Partner role is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced HR/OD practitioner who is interested in leading, designing and implementing workforce strategies and approaches with an excellent track record of project management to successfully deliver large scale organisational change programmes. You will be joining an enthusiastic, motivated and highly professional team, working alongside 3 other HR/OD Business Partners and supported by and have line management responsibility for Assistant HR/OD Business Partners. As a HR/OD Business Partner, your main responsibilities will include: Dedicated HR/OD Business Partner for Children's and Education services; supporting, influencing and challenging senior stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives Leading on change management processes including restructures and TUPE Advising, coaching and empowering managers to build and develop engaged and effective teams

You will be highly self-motivated to deliver projects through to the end, working independently on your own initiative. Now is the time to join us and play a key role in shaping how we deliver effective people management practices within Children's and Education Services. To be successful in the role you will be a proactive, driven individual with an up to date knowledge of employment law, best practice and strategic thinking in HR along with strong generalist HR experience.   • This post is classified as being in a professional job category. As such the grade for the job has a professional grade development bar which employees can progress through subject to meeting the following criteria:
  • 1. Relevant professional qualification for the job role at Level 6 or above AND a management qualification, AND 2. Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in the role, AND 3. Maintained membership of a regulated body where this is a requirement to practice in the role where applicable, AND 4. Professional standards practised to the highest expected level.
