Full Job Description

We search for a high performing, ambitious and dynamic HR professional, looking to work in a fast-paced environment. You will report into the HR Manager - Wrexham, and you will be based in our Wrexham Plant providing generalist HR support and guidance to the location. You will be a member of the UK Metal Packaging HR Team and also work closely with the European HR Team, local Plant Management team and trade unions.,

  • Deliver effective HR support to the HR Manager and site

  • Manage HR Inbox

  • First point of contact for day-to-day HR queries

  • Assisting with the recruitment process, raising requisitions, and arranging interviews

  • Payroll administration for the monthly payroll, ensure sox compliance, and all paperwork uploaded for processing within payroll deadlines (including Time & Attendance, Overtime, Sickness stats and holiday recording)

  • Arranging medicals - new / existing employees

  • Co-ordinate the booking of external training for employees and maintain up to date records

  • Maintaining and updating employee records on success factors and paper files

  • Administration required during the employee lifecycle including issuing offers, change of roles, leaver administration etc, ensuring signed copies are saved on employee records.

  • Prepare paperwork for onboarding and ensure right to work checks are undertaken.

  • Update private medical participants each month

  • Update SAP with absences, compensation and working rules.

  • Manage occupational health surveillance appointments for medical screening, referrals and flu jabs.

  • Mange the workwear/uniform contract with regards to orders, distribution and any issues that arise.

  • Mange locker keys/lockers, maintaining a register of owners.

  • Administer eyewear for the site and issue upon request.

  • Raise Purchase orders on SAP and follow through the approval process as necessary.

  • Long service retirement and reward and recognition administration

  • Ensure appropriate communications are placed on HR site notice boards and maintain as necessary.

  • Create standard operating procedures for all HR Activities and maintain as required.

  • Scanning paperwork to employee files

  • Ad hoc support to the management team as required.
