Full Job Description

We have a number exciting opportunities to join our new inhouse HR team. As an HR officer you will support Norwich City Services Ltd, a wholly owned company of Norwich City Council, deliver its key objectives as set out in the NCSL's Business Plan and OD Strategy.

Working closely with the HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload, providing training, support and advice to managers on absence, health, conduct and capability issues as well as other policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for drafting and reviewing HR policies and procedures and undertaking other project work as required.

Able to build trust and work collaboratively to identify appropriate outcomes in accordance with policies, procedures and employment legislation, you should have a sound knowledge of employment legislation.

Qualified or in the process of studying for the intermediate or advanced CIPD accreditation, you should be able to demonstrate excellent IT, communication and interpersonal skills along with proven experience of dispute resolution and be experienced at training and supporting managers, providing comprehensive HR support in all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
