Full Job Description

Provide support to all areas of the pay and reward team on Pay Data and elements of other evidence available from benchmarking of pay and reward activity.

Support the pay team in the delivery of annual pay awards and delivering evidence requested from TU representatives during consultations.

Support the Head of Pay in creating pay models and looking for options of how to apply the % allocated annual award across the pay landscape for MoD.

Work with a range of stakeholders both internal to MoD as well as cross-Government stakeholders from the Cabinet Office, HM Treasury, Armed Forces Remuneration Team, and Defence's Arm's length bodies.

This is an exciting time to join as the team work on a number of initiatives to improve the wider offer for Civil Servants across Defence. There are opportunities to be innovative and bring your ideas to the future of civilian pay and reward in MoD. The successful applicant will receive full support but also be provided a degree of autonomy to deliver.

We are seeking a HR professional with a background in Data Analysis or is interested in working towards a CIPD accreditation if not already held.

Applicants would ideally have a working knowledge of how pay and reward works in the civil service. Applicants need to be able to develop, model and analyse pay strategies and have an ability to use data insights to find solutions to complex problems.

The pay and reward team are friendly and inclusive and work together to achieve our aims. The successful candidate needs to be a team player and willing to be flexible to support the highest priorities for the team at any time.
