Full Job Description
- Act as the primary point of contact for reward and benefit inquiries.
- Administer SCM reward and career development schemes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency which includes the co-ordination of senior academic Headships, Sabbaticals, and Retirements.
- Provide administrative support to the SCM HR Team, including onboarding, assisting with committees, projects, and day-to-day operations.
- Manage key events and promotional materials to enhance employee experience and engagement.
- Offer support on employee relations issues including note taking.
- Coordinate resource and workforce planning activities.
- Provide administrative assistance to projects and NHS committees.
- Aid in developing key HR messages and communications for the team and across the School.
- Support wellbeing, equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, fostering a non-discriminatory work environment.
- Collaborate with the SCM HR team and other university staff, representing our team in various meetings and initiatives.
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Familiarity with HR best practices and employment law is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, with occasional travel to other sites.
