About the role

As an HR System and Data Analyst, you'll be the go-to expert for creating high-quality Management Information (MI) and maintaining our dynamic HR reporting suites in Power BI, empowering managers with seamless self-service capabilities. You'll be a key player in providing crucial HR data analytics to our HR and senior leadership teams, refining our monthly reporting to track essential people metrics that drive the business forward. Your ability to deliver bespoke, on-demand reports with insightful analysis will set you apart.

But that's just the beginning! You'll leverage your expertise in systems and applications to revolutionize our way of working. By harnessing the Power Platform suite and other innovative tools, you'll drive process automation and develop cutting-edge platforms, tools, and methodologies for predictive analysis.

Reporting directly to the HR Director for RPS' Services operating unit, you'll also collaborate closely with our shared services and HRIS teams across the globe, making a significant impact on our international operations.

What you'll be doing

Liaising with a variety of stakeholders throughout RPS and Tetra Tech to build networks and explore solutions to data challenges
Managing accurate and timely HR Data reporting to provide monthly dashboard of key people metrics
Compiling data reports for monthly management meetings, producing People KPIs. Analysing this data to add insight and explanation. Reconciling multiple data sources and systems to create the one source of truth
Partnering the HR Director and HR and Talent Acquisition teams on projects and to develop initiatives where data, automation and Power Platform can add value
Support business requests for bespoke bid/client reporting and with complex HR data queries

A degree, or equivalent experience, in a relevant Analytics or IT discipline
A people person with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present data in simple forms
Passionate about data with a natural curiosity to understand it and interpret a story from it
Must be comfortable working with sensitive and confidential information and have a good awareness of Data protection (GDPR) rules
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, pivot tables, Vlook ups, data analysis, presenting data though graphs and charts
Proven knowledge of Power BI dashboards and development
Business Process mapping experience
Good knowledge of Power Apps and MS Power Platform, enough to be confident taking on development with guidance from other internal experts
Good knowledge of Office 365 applications, Sharepoint and Power Point
Desirable

Significant experience working in a large matrix organisation
Experience of working with Oracle E Business Suite or/and ADP payroll solution desirable not essential
Business process mapping experience desirable not essential
A knowledge of HR administration would be advantageous but not essential
