Full Job Description

As a HR Systems Specialist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Supporting the HR Shared Service Centre and business with oracle queries, participating in requirements gathering sessions and carrying out user acceptance testing of all HR systems across Kier.
  • Responsibility for establishing great relationships with both internal and external stakeholders which develop the reputation and credibility of the HR Systems team and wider shared service.
  • Acting as a point of contact for HR Systems queries, and work with other team members to resolve any problems.
  • Ensuring all HR Systems documentation and processes are kept up to date and regularly reviewed to ensure they are fit for purpose i.e., local work instructions, process maps etc.
  • Ensuring all HR/Payroll functionality is tested prior to any release to the live system.

    Experience of utilising HRIS systems, Oracle packages such as Oracle Service Cloud and Oracle EBS would be advantageous.
  • Fully proficient in Office 365 with Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in producing clear requirements documentation and associated plans for testing.
  • Experience creating process maps and local work instructions to ensure processes followed are documented.
  • Ability to communicate clear messages and translate complex and technical concepts into simple interpretation for an audience who are non-technical.
