Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity for an Advanced Health, Safety & Environment Apprentice has become available at our world-class aerospace manufacturing facility in East Cowes, on the Isle of Wight. Working in conjunction with the Level 3 Safety, Health and Environment Technician Apprenticeship Standard, and working across both our Osborne and Falcon Yard manufacturing facilities, our four-year programme will provide you with all the development and training that you need to get your career off to a flying start! Once qualified, our Health, Safety & Environment Apprentice is then likely to move into one the following career discipline:
- Site Health & Safety Advisor - Supporting the management and development of Health, Safety and Environment for the site.
- Site Environmental Advisor - Supporting the management and development Environmental issues for the site Job Responsibilities
- To observe the company's terms and conditions of employment.
- In both work and training, to be diligent and punctual and attend courses, keep records and undertake any tests determined by the company in order to measure & achieve the training objectives and quality gates.
- To behave in a responsible manner and in accordance with the requirements of Health & Safety legislation relating to the individual's responsibilities.
- To be a good ambassador of the Company's name and image.
- To successfully complete all activities documented in the Apprenticeship Training Agreement
Suitable candidates must be eligible to work in the UK, and have at least Five GCSE's, or equivalent, as follows:: - Maths: Grade 9 - 4
- English: Grade 9 - 4
- Science: Grade 9 - 4
- Plus Two more Grade: 9 - 4
