Barking & Dagenham Home Treatment Team is a HTAS (Home Treatment Accreditation Scheme) accredited crisis service and we are seeking 1 Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse with NMC registration and Teaching qualification (ENB 998, TICS, etc.).A clear understanding of the Home Treatment/Crisis Resolution Model of service delivery including Gatekeeping and facilitating early discharges from the ward. Ability to work under pressure both as an independent practitioner as well as a team player., The main responsibilities of the post: oTo ensure that assessments and care plans reflect the psychological, emotional, and social care, treatment, intervention, and risk management needs appropriate to adults with acute mental health problems. oTo enable others to contribute effectively, acknowledging the nature of and context of their work, sharing and taking account of own and others' knowledge and skills, and differences in working and professional practice oTo work closely with other disciplines to deliver joined-up care.oTo take joint responsibility for teaching and assessing student nurses and other multi-disciplinary staff who are on placement within the team.oTo actively identify a full range of needs pertaining to equality and diversity issues that may arise for service users.

Starting with NELFT

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process, new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

High Cost Area Supplement - London

This post also attracts payment for High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,551 and a maximum payment of £5,735).
