Full Job Description
The post holder has an exciting opportunity to manage the operational and administrative delivery of Cranfield-related innovation scale-up programmes within the University's Innovation Ecosystem. This will include the multi-regional, cross-institutional Research England Development funded Climate Scaling Collaborative (CSC) involving 5 universities (led by Imperial College London); a programme that aims to transform innovative UK-based climate startups into world-leading scale-ups.
The Hub Manager will be the first point of contact for relevant programme delivery partners whilst undertaking day-to-day operations, programme governance, partner coordination, engagement and communication with external stakeholders, delivery of internal and external reports, alongside overseeing budgets, organising meetings and delivering events. They will work closely with the Head of Knowledge Exchange, Innovation and Ecosystem Manager and Technology and Manufacturing Navigation Manager on strategy, planning and delivery of the scale-up programmes and Innovation Ecosystem activities.
You will be educated to degree level in a subject related to Cranfield's core themes, or have equivalent experience, and have demonstrable experience with research commercialisation or support for technical innovation, as well as proven ability in successful project management and in effective communication with diverse teams.
