Full Job Description

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify risks and needs for children and families.
  • Manage a varied caseload, ensuring that safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
  • Work closely with multi-agency professionals to deliver coordinated and effective services.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of case notes, assessments, and care plans.
  • Attend and contribute to Child Protection conferences, meetings, and court proceedings.
  • Provide ongoing support and interventions to safeguard vulnerable children and ensure positive outcomes.

    Hull City Council is looking for an experienced Safeguarding Assessment Social Worker to join the Assessment Service. This role is crucial for safeguarding children and families in Hull and the surrounding areas.
