Full Job Description

You will support and provide advice and guidance to an allocation of Schools and Service Areas in matters including recruitment and selection, conditions of service queries, management of sickness absence cases including undertaking welfare visits, assisting with discipline / grievance minute taking and processing maternity/paternity/adoption/shared parental leave., The Council values diversity in its workforce. Your role will be to be the first point of contact for these services, taking operational Human Resources queries and providing a timely appropriate response in line with HR policies and procedures, therefore being able to communicate clearly and concisely, being highly organised and working under pressure to deadlines is essential.

You will require strong IT and organisational skills as you will be responsible for processing human resource and payroll information via the iTrent system.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
