Full Job Description

  • Take a holistic approach, ensuring alignment between area plans, UK strategy, and business objectives.

  • Lead resource planning efforts to ensure our skills and resources are future-ready.

  • Navigate change and transformations effectively, minimising disruptions to our business.

  • Provide valuable insights for tenders and new client meetings, contributing to our growth and success.

  • Analyse people metrics to support leaders in driving improvement and cost savings.

  • Drive business-wide initiatives aligned with the Securitas people strategy, specializing in organizational design, change management, and employee engagement.

  • Foster strong relationships with HR support functions, maintaining high service standards.

  • Support TUPE transfers, onboarding, and training delivery to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.

  • Collaborate with Legal Counsel on potential issues and stay updated on employment legislation to ensure compliance.

  • Specialise in HR solutions, employee wellbeing, and business compliance to support our teams effectively.

  • Maintain positive relationships with Union reps, leading negotiations when required to ensure a harmonious work environment.

  • Drive talent management and succession planning efforts to nurture our future leaders.

  • Support the interviewing and selection process for new managers, ensuring we bring the best talent on board.

  • Promote a collaborative culture aligned with our business plan, where teamwork and innovation thrive.

  • Support managers in managing employees on long-term sick leave, ensuring sensitive and appropriate approaches in line with company policy.

    UK / EU citizen or valid work permit.

  • 5-year checkable work history

  • CIPD qualified (level 5 or equivalent)

  • In depth knowledge of ER / IR including experience of TUPE Regulations

  • Experience of coaching

  • Ability to build relationships and fully engage with various management teams and support functions

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Full clean driving licence

  • Ability to travel throughout the Area

  • Flexibility as required

  • Some overnight stays will be required

  • Delivery of Change Management

  • Experience of working within a unionised environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
