CoStar Group is currently in search of an experienced HRBP to join our international HR team based in London, UK. The HR Business Partner is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to our management and employees across CoStar International, with a focus on the UK. The HRBP acts as the connection between the business lines and HR to assess trends in areas such as engagement and retention, performance management and compensation, career and leadership development. Under the supervision of the VP, International Human Resources, the primary objective of this role is to partner with functional leaders/managers and other HR stakeholders to maximize their effectiveness in leading highly successful and engaged teams across your client group. In addition, the HRBP will support and advise client groups on the implementation and execution of HR initiatives and processes, as aligned with the talent needs of the business. As the HR Business Partner for a large group of CoStar employees in the UK, you will play a crucial role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives. You will work closely with leaders to drive employee engagement, performance, and organizational effectiveness. This position requires a deep understanding of UK employment law and regulations, as well as a proactive approach to problem-solving and fostering a positive work environment., Strategic Business Partnering:

  • Partner with business leaders to understand their strategic objectives and provide HR support to achieve them.
  • Support and execute full lifecycle employee and HR processes including; bonus program(s), promotions, performance review processes, year-end compensation, engagement survey roll-out, manager excellence, employee relations, and other recurring people processes.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall workplace satisfaction.
  • Analyse data, and effectively organise and present findings to drive data-backed HR strategy.
  • Coach managers to aid in their effectiveness, foster highly functioning and engaged teams and drive a thriving corporate culture.
  • Facilitate training on employee development, coaching and other management topics.
  • Ensure HR Business Partner support is highly effective and scalable to meet critical business goals.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Proactively manage and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring a positive work environment.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to management on employee relations matters, conducting investigations and providing guidance on resolutions.
  • HR Policies and Compliance:
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with UK employment laws.
  • HR Operations
  • Partner with HR centers of excellence to ensure execution of all human resource operations within assigned client groups and serve as a central point of contact for client groups' HR needs.
  • Help process transactions via HRIS including promotions, transfers, job and compensation changes and terminations.
  • Projects:
  • Support HR efforts in the integration of acquisitions, ensuring a smooth transition for both acquired and existing employees.

    Relevant degree or equivalent experience required.
  • HR Business Partner experience required in a role operating in a matrix organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations required.
  • Strong experience in handling employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong client-service.
  • Ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent data analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Any expertise in M&A integration processes beneficial.
  • CIPD qualification desirable.
  • Commitment to excellence and high level of integrity; ability to exercise strict confidentiality and sound judgement.
