Full Job Description

Our HR team is looking for an enthusiastic Human Resources Industrial Placement student to join us in a 12-month role. You'll gain hands-on experience and contribute directly to creating our ultra-luxury performance cars. This unique opportunity will provide a comprehensive understanding of how our HR function drives Aston Martin's business objectives and supports our overall strategy. Throughout the placement, you'll work closely with key HR support functions, rotating across our HR teams, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Reward and Benefits, and Learning and Development. You'll gain insights into how business and people decisions affect the wider organisation and how different teams come together to drive Aston Martin's success. This placement will develop your skills and offer real-life industry insights to support your degree. You'll gain exposure to the full spectrum of HR activities, laying a strong foundation for your career in Human Resources.

  • Manage projects and deadlines: Support on performance management training programs, HR Operations projects and other initiatives, balancing multiple responsibilities and delivering results.
  • Provide updates to leadership: Regularly present your progress to the HR Leadership Team, building your confidence and communication skills.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders: Communicate effectively across wider Aston Martin departments and with outside partners.
  • Problem-solving on the go: Work in a fast-paced, flexible environment where adaptability is key.
  • What We're Looking For:
  • Students returning to their final year of study after this placement.
  • 128 UCAS points at A-Level or equivalent qualifications.
  • Minimum 2:1 predicted degree.
  • Hands-on approach: Willing to dive in and take on tasks.
  • Team player: Comfortable working across different departments.
  • Proactive and adaptable: Ready to ask questions, challenge the status quo, and roll up your sleeves.
  • Solution-focused mindset: Confident in handling challenges and finding ways to improve processes.
