Full Job Description

As a People Services Specialist, you'll join a team of five, who are the first point of contact for all colleagues and managers across UKI, Romania, and Israel - handling a wide range of HR transactional inquiries, including policies, processes, and programs. Your primary focus will be resolving Tier 1 inquiries through ServiceNow tickets and live web chat, either by handling them directly from A to Z or escalating more complex queries to the appropriate Tier 2 team specialists (Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Rewards, Employee Relations, etc.). You can anticipate to process an average of 35 tickets per day. You'll play a crucial role in our team's journey toward becoming a global, expert-led People (HR) shared services center and engaging in special projects to enhance this transformation.,

  • Acting as the first point of contact, action colleague queries using appropriate methods (ServiceNow tickets or Web/Live Chat) to reach the best solution. This includes transferring queries to the appropriate teams or actioning queries as required.

  • Work with external partners to action requests.

  • Act as custodians of colleague data, keeping data clean by ensuring the HRIS is up to date.

  • Support the People Services Manager or wider People team in the delivery of initiatives that align with our people plan and the wider business goals.

  • Work collaboratively with Payroll to ensure the required changes and inputs, leading to a smooth monthly pay run

  • Offer basic advice and guidance to colleagues and line management on a range of colleague issues using company policies and procedures.

  • Adopt a continuous improvement mindset:

  • Look for ways to improve processes in collaboration with the continuous improvement team, adopting best practice solutions.

  • Liaise with the HRIS Admin team on system improvements

  • Regularly review own ways of working to ensure the best possible colleague experience.

  • Use commercial awareness and business understanding to offer pragmatic and appropriate solutions based on the needs of the business.

    CIPD Certified (required)

  • At least 2 years as an HR professional with generalist experience in the fundamentals of HR.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Excellent planning and organising skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising effectively.

  • You are known for your effective communication skills with the ability to adapt your communication style to your intended audience.

  • Able to troubleshoot queries using a range of sources of information to resolve.

  • Excellent attention to detail with the confidence to challenge errors and action accordingly.

  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at any level by building trust and delivering customer (colleague/line manager) service that is acknowledged as high quality.
