We ensure that DHL develops and grows in the future. We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position. This position could be based anywhere in UK region. Job Purpose: Lead the analysis, evaluation, and management of HVAC solutions for new and existing building projects, while overseeing global expert groups and contributing to procurement strategies and project planning. Your tasks:

  • Analyze on an independent basis HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) solutions, both for our new building projects and for our existing building portfolio
  • Contribute to evaluating the feasibility, emissions and economic efficiency of the various solutions with regard to divisional building use, available technologies and interfaces, and the current statutory framework
  • Manage the global expert group for HVAC on a largely independent basis
  • Provide support for defining the global and regional procurement strategy for HVAC components and solutions in cooperation with regional colleagues for a) new building projects and b) stock conversion
  • Contribute to identifying, commissioning and managing suppliers
  • Support the development and testing of functional and technical HVAC specifications for different types of buildings and countries
  • Support the conceptualization and planning of new strategically important building projects; cooperate with suppliers to create cost-effective solutions for new building and conversion projects
  • Contribute to the management of relevant pilot projects and rollout programs
  • Develop communications content on the above-mentioned topics
  • Prepare presentations, conduct workshops and represent the subject internally and externally
  • Your profile:
  • Degree in building services engineering, mechanical engineering or similar, with a particular focus on heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), sustainability or equivalent qualification
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience
  • Excellent specialist knowledge and project management experience
  • Business proficiency in English
  • Self-assured, confident manner, particularly when dealing with top management and suppliers
  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills
  • Very good communication skills, both spoken and written
  • High level of flexibility and a very good team player
  • Ability to work independently and de-centrally
  • Integrity and loyalty
  • Long-term, solution-oriented approach in a complex working environment
