Full Job Description

  • Adhere to company Health & Safety policies and standards at all times.
  • Report all accidents and near misses immediately to a Supervisor or Manager.
  • Operate only equipment for which you have received full training.
  • Report any damage or defects to equipment, property, or products to the Supervisor.
  • Maintain personal appearance in line with company guidelines, including wearing a clean and presentable uniform and valid identity pass.
  • Execute the warehouse cleaning schedule efficiently and thoroughly.
  • Respond promptly to calls requesting cleaning services.
  • Ensure cleaning stations are stocked with clean mops and water.
  • Empty compactors according to manufacturer guidelines and clean the compactor area at the end of your shift.
  • Empty cardboard cages and return them to their designated locations in the warehouse.
  • Communicate any failures to follow the cleaning schedule to the Shift Manager.
  • Assist with the removal of cardboard boxes/waste from office areas as needed.
  • Support the delivery of orders to the office area.
  • Undertake any reasonable requests from Management.

    Communication: Effectively convey information to managers and colleagues to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Self-Motivation: Proactively take action to accomplish objectives and ensure tasks are completed.
  • Safety Awareness: Stay alert to conditions that may affect employee safety.
  • Housekeeping: Commit to high standards of cleanliness and actively participate in housekeeping activities., Flexible approach to work.
  • Physically fit with a good attendance record.
  • Ability to work independently and without supervision., NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Basic verbal and written communication skills.
  • Completion of training in all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within 3 months.
  • Sound knowledge of Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
