Full Job Description

We're looking for an i-HEART Driver - Administrator to support the team in delivering exceptional healthcare services. This dual role is crucial for ensuring GPs can reach patients efficiently while maintaining high-level administrative support.,

  • Handle routine and specialist enquiries, providing excellent customer service and communicating relevant information to stakeholders.

  • Conduct telephone care navigation and triage services as the first point of contact for patients.

  • Manage complaints, comments, and suggestions, resolving issues in line with policies.

  • Monitor workflow, including out of hours, and book patient appointments.

  • Process blood results and manage consultations as needed.

  • Act as a receptionist/first point of contact when required.

  • Input, monitor, and print reports from computerised systems.

  • Perform general office duties including photocopying, document processing, and email monitoring.

  • Serve as a Chaperone for patients when necessary.

  • Book smear clinics and referrals.

  • Maintain office supply levels and conduct regular stock checks.

  • Prepare clinical rooms for GPs at the start of shifts.

  • Generate reports and manage building security procedures.

  • Undertake other duties as delegated.


  • Driving related Duties:
  • Provide safe and timely transportation for GPs.

  • Understand and maintain fleet vehicles, ensuring flexibility to drive any vehicle.

  • Complete vehicle log sheets and report any issues.

  • Ensure vehicle maintenance, cleanliness, and security.

  • Assist in bringing patients in and out of the building when required.

  • Perform weekly car checks, maintaining drug boxes and defibrillators.

  • Foster positive communication with drivers, GPs, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

    Strong IT skills, proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised within set guidelines.

  • Valid driving license and knowledge of vehicle maintenance.

  • Must be age 25 and over for vehicle insurance purposes

  • Experience in administrative roles and/or healthcare settings is desirable.
