IAM Transformation Lead

You'll be making banking more secure by designing, implementing, and operating controls to manage cybersecurity risk. You'll help define HSBC Group cyber security standards, deliver Global Security Operations ad Threat management services, provide round-the-clock monitoring and security incident response services, and oversee Network/Application/Infrastructure Security. The work you do will provid3e assurance of the adequacy and effectiveness of security controls to Business Risk Owners.

As the IAM Transformation Lead for Identity and Access Management, you will be responsible for driving the transformation and development of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) function across the bank. You will work with a team of professionals, including IAM architects, consultants, engineers, and will be responsible for the development, implementation, and continual improvement of IAM capabilities and strategies. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, Cybersecurity teams, and other senior leaders, to ensure that IAM is aligned with overall business objectives and priorities.,

  • Develop and implement IAM strategies, roadmaps and initiatives that support the organization's business objectives and achievement of security, compliance, and risk management targets

  • Drive transformation of the IAM function, including modernisation and

  • automation of IAM processes, and establishment of best practices, standards, and guidelines for IAM capabilities and operation
  • Lead on creating a plan to upskill existing staff to meet future emerging capability requirements as we deliver on our strategy.

  • Lead the development of IAM capabilities to meet business needs, including

  • access governance and certification, privileged access management, identity
    lifecycle management, and federated identity management
  • Lead and provide direction to the IAM team in the development, implementation, and maintenance of IAM solutions that meet the organization's evolving security and compliance requirements.

  • Establish and maintain key relationships with business stakeholders, CTO and Cybersecurity teams, and other senior leaders, to ensure that IAM is effectively

  • integrated into key business processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Transformation, Capability and Strategy to help design and implement IAM strategy across the organization.

    Experience in IAM or Cyber security domain.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or

  • related field
  • Proven experience in driving transformation and modernization of IAM functions

  • Solid understanding of IAM technologies such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-

  • Factor Authentication (MFA), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA),
    Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Cloud Access Security Broker
    (CASB)
  • Deep knowledge of industry best practices and standards related to IAM such as

  • ISO 27001/2, NIST, and GDPR
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced

  • environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, ability to interact with business

  • stakeholders, and build relationships with key partners across the organization.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of professionals, foster a culture of innovation,

  • and drive team performance and career development.
