IAPT Counsellor

As a IAPT counsellor, you will be involved in engaging with the residents and professionals of Heywood Middleton and Rochdale (HMR) to help raise awareness of our wellbeing service and how we can meet the needs of the local community. As someone who is passionate about mental health and wellbeing, you will have a key role of engaging with the local population and will help more people to access the support that they need, when they need it. You will play a key part in pioneering our Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Talking Therapies service, which includes a team of Trainee and Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners and Counsellors who are deliver a range of NICE approved interventions for depression and anxiety disorders.,

• You will hold a recognised counselling qualification and will be accredited or working towards accreditation., You will be a highly motivated individual with the ability to organise and prioritise your own workload.

• An annual salary of £35,964 (NHS Band 5 + 4 years equivalent)
• A permanent 37.5 hours per week contract (Hybrid working).
• Based at Lock 50 Business Centre, Oldham Road, Rochdale, OL16 5RD.
