IB Publisher

NB This is a fixed term contract for six months with possibility of extension,

• leading and developing content strategy
• researching the needs of teachers and learners in IB schools, and identifying opportunities for existing and new products and services to meet these needs
• working closely with the IB Commercial Products & Partnerships team on co-published resources
• commissioning products that are market focused
• working closely with sales, marketing and professional development colleagues to ensure that these resources are known about in schools and are used effectively
• identifying and recruiting the best authors and advisers
• project managing resources from idea through to publication as part of a business team
  
  We are seeking a highly motivated IB Publisher, with proven experience in an educational publishing environment particularly the IB market, to work on our market-leading list and to play a key role in the International Publishing team., To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
• International K-12 strategic publisher experience, particularly in the IB market
• Experience of researching, commissioning and overseeing the successful delivery of print and digital projects.
• Understanding of the challenges faced by teachers and secondary students when using English resources in an international and/or EAL context.
• Financial literacy and the ability to assess and manage project viability.
• Proven communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Previous IB commissioning experience.
