Full Job Description

To provide comprehensive clinical skills, information, advice and support to both existing and newly diagnosed patients with IBD.
Ensure rapid access for patients to specialist care and advice through face to face and telephone contact.
Work as an independent practitioner both on the ward and in the outpatient setting, including Primary Care, working with your own case load alongside other members of the multidisciplinary team including gastroenterologists, surgeons, dieticians.
Assess patients prior to their treatment.
Review and monitor on immunomodulator/biologic medications.
Participate in clinical audits and research in specialist areas.
Participate in the education and training of multidisciplinary staff within the Trust.
Provide a flexible approach to collaborative working to ensure patients have seamless access to specialist care.
