Full Job Description

We have been very successful in developing collaboration and integrating healthcare in many of our services across LLR. We wish to develop this further in our digital programme. This role combines the ICB Chief Information Officer for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Integrated Care Board (ICB) and also the Digital Strategy Officer for Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT).

We would like you to continue our journey of collaboration; working with stakeholders across LLR you will lead the digital agenda for the ICB and lead the development of LPTs strategy.

You will be working closely with key stakeholders across our system, including senior leaders in the ICB, LPT, UHL and Local Authorities., As a senior leader within the ICB, the CIO will be responsible for supporting and driving the vision for all parts of health and social care. The CIO will have a responsibility for ensuring the primary care digital agenda is delivered through the ICB team.

The CIO plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration, promoting interoperability, and harnessing the power of information and technology to improve patient outcomes, enhance population health, and drive system-wide efficiencies within the NHS ICS framework.

The Digital Strategy Officer duties within LPT is a key leadership position responsible for shaping the strategic direction working closely with LPTs CDIO and Director of Leicestershire Health Informatics Service (LHIS) who oversee the management of information and technology services for Primary Care, the ICB and LPT.

This role plays a critical role in driving digital innovation, enhancing service delivery, and improving patient outcomes across community and mental health settings.
