About the Role: ICOE Data & AI - BPM&A Technical Solution Specialist, Avanade is seeking a passionate and driven Technical Solution Specialist to support our Data & AI Solution Area within the Global Integrated Center of Excellence (ICOE), part of our Integrated Go-To-Market organization. In this role, you will be instrumental in helping bring to market and enabling our priority solution plays within the AI, BPM & Automation (BPM&A), and Data Communities of Practice. You will directly support the accelerated growth of key regions by driving client impact, showcasing technical leadership, and helping clients achieve their business outcomes. You will be responsible for supporting the strategy, performance, and growth of our offerings in alignment with the BPM&A Practice, reporting to the ICOE SME Tower Lead and working as part of the Global BPM&A Practice alongside Avanade's Global Data & AI Senior Leadership Team. You will work closely with clients across multiple industries-such as Manufacturing, Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, Consumer Goods, and Public Sector-to translate business strategies into technical solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes. Your role will be pivotal in creating new business opportunities, growing existing client relationships, and driving client impact through presales, solutioning, and strategic guidance. You will also contribute to maintaining and governing key D&AI/BPM&A assets in the ICOE Asset & Engineering tower to accelerate business growth. Your time will most likely be split between the SME towers, and the Asset & Engineering towers - but on an "as needed" basis. This role will require leadership, stewardship and ownership of certain assets, an understanding of their technical architecture, but also the ability to drive, pivot and adapt to market needs, business and practice needs, ICOE needs and the ability to recover investment budgets and/or measure the impact through pipeline or consumption of the asset. You will lead clients through their digital transformation journeys, confidently engaging with senior stakeholders as a trusted advisor. Through your deep expertise, you will help Avanade maintain its leadership position in Data & AI, with a particular focus on BPM&A. Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions, leveraging strong business acumen.
  • Develop comprehensive solution plans and strategic visions for AI, BPM&A, and Data solutions, aligned with clients' business needs.
  • Provide high-level architectural expertise to sales, project, and BPM&A teams.
  • Identify risks, assumptions, and create end-to-end estimates based on solution plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Regional Sales and Practice Leads, Solution Architects, and Industry Leads to deliver solutions that balance cost, capability, and risk.
  • Foster partnerships with Accenture, Microsoft, and key ISVs to increase Avanade's market share.
  • Engage with client leadership and technology teams in strategic discussions to provide expert technical guidance that enhances long-term business goals.
  • Leadership, stewardship and ownership of certain assets, an understanding of their technical architecture, but also the ability to drive, pivot and adapt to market, business and practice, ICOE needs. There will also be a requirement to recover investment budgets and/or measure the impact through pipeline or consumption of the asset.

Proven track record in building and nurturing exceptional client relationships, delivering a best-in-class end-to-end client experience, ideally in a technology-focused business consulting environment.
  • Expertise in translating business use cases into well-architected technical solutions, particularly on Azure and the Power Platform, incorporating BPM&A to drive additional value.
  • Experience in designing and implementing system integration projects that include BPM&A, with a focus on Automation, Azure AI/OpenAI, Data Analytics, and Business Process Management.
  • Ability to assess and manage opportunities and risks in large-scale, complex consulting engagements, including ethical considerations related to AI.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry-standard business practices, with specialization in at least one priority industry vertical.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and effectively collaborate with globally distributed teams.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
