ICP Sample Preparation Technician

Alfred H Knight has an opportunity for a Sample Preparation Technician to join our laboratory in Liverpool. Responsible to the ICP Manager and Operators for carrying out multiple analytical procedures associated with the preparation of sample solutions submitted to the ICP department prior to analysis. Performing this role in such a manner to ensure that a high degree of precision, accuracy, and efficient service is provided on the various types of samples / commodities submitted to the laboratory for analytical evaluation. It is possible that the role may involve progression towards instrumentation (AAS, ICP-OES/ICP-MS), this depends on the post holder's observed competency, full training will be provided.

Required Work Experience
• Experience in a laboratory environment. (Ideal but not essential), A minimum GCSE equivalent education.
