Full Job Description

Are you a tech enthusiast with a passion for education? Are you ready to make a difference in the world of IT within a school environment?, We have an exciting opportunity for an ICT Assistant to join our small IT team to assist in the maintenance of the school's ICT infrastructure and services. You will help to maintain and improve the ICT provision for students, teachers and other staff.

With previous experience of working in an ICT support role, you will support staff in using ICT, configure items of equipment and carry out technical tasks on networked computers.

You will offer first line response for IT support such as photocopier issues, Audio Visual support for classrooms and meetings and setting up equipment for use in the school.

Knowledge of network management and prior experience of technical support and/or a special needs environment is desirable. Solid operational skills in a Windows environment and a good knowledge of internet safety, computer security and best practices are a must.

You will have the ability to provide IT support in a calm and friendly manner and will be able to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities in classrooms utilising your excellent communication skills., Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening and safer recruitment checks appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and DBS., Disability Confident
