Salary: Scale 2/3 - Points 4 - 6 (£24,674 - £25,419 per annum actual)

Hours: 35 hours per week - 8:30 - 16:00 - Monday to Friday

Working Pattern: Term Time Only plus 1 week (Additional week to be worked the last week of the Summer break)

Contract: Fixed term contract of 2 calendar years

Start Date: April 2024

We are seeking to recruit an ICT Technician to support pupils, staff and other users with their day to day ICT requirements as well as additional project work across the school. The postholder will be undertaking a wide range of tasks both within the department and across the wider school campus.

The successful candidate will have prior experience of and be comfortable in working with Microsoft Active Directory based networks. To succeed in this important role, you will need some of the following knowledge and experience:

  • Active Directory knowledge (incl. DNS, DHCP, GPOs)

  • Installation & configuration of a range of software and hardware.

  • Maintaining systems, device and data security implementations.

  • Knowledge of accessibility functions in Windows & IOS

  • Knowledge of SIMs and MS Excel

  • Knowledge of managing mobile devices via MDM (Meraki etc.)


  • Good organisational and problem solving skills together with the ability to support end user queries all the way through to a successful resolution are essential for this role.

    ICT certifications including Microsoft or Comp TIA would be a significant advantage.
