What you'll do

Location: UK, Germany, Portugal, Spain

This role encompasses the word-wide E2E accountability for Office IT Infrastructure services like Identity-, Access- & Service Provisioning and Active Directory & Cloud synchronisation. Office IT Infrastructure is a key enabler for the technical delivery of a consistent end user experience and the basis for all other Office IT services and global business application (cloud and on-prem). The services in scope ensure the HR joiner/mover/leaver process, the access to critical Tier0 data and the provisioning of critical Office IT services like E-Mail. Additionally, the accountability includes the user-, object- and attribute synchronisation between the strategic Active Directory domain, Local Market distributed directories and Microsoft Cloud EntraID.

The role owner ensures top-class service through consistent life cycle management and professional solution / service ownership. The specialist is E2E responsible for the solution design and 24/7 operations. He/she ensures SLA adherence for his services by providing solution documentation and transferring knowledge to our interfaces in the process chain (enabling the helpdesk, operations and our suppliers to deliver a world-class service). Furthermore, the role owner is responsible for proper IT lifecycle- & capacity management and furthermore for high-end KPI reporting.

The impact of Active Directory and Microsoft EntraID is key for the business and it is one of the most revenue impacting services for Vodafone world-wide.

Key responsibilities:

  • Accountable in terms of technology and functionality for both solutions in all local markets and group entities where Office IT provides their services. Owner of dedicated solutions and accountable to assure an excellent service delivery and drives the optimization and standardization from both a service and cost perspective.

  • End-to-end accountable for the entire lifecycle of the chosen products and accountable for adjusting and changing the services according to new business or cost optimization requirements, whilst ensuring consistent service delivery to all local markets.

  • Maintaining a good relationship to the vendors involved in the delivery of the solutions and assuring that these vendors meet their defined and agreed KPIs.

  • Advocate of the service and driving the marketing of dedicated solutions and supporting all service related projects.

  • Accountable for ensuring that customer requirements are understood and able to give advice and provide consultancy to both internaland externalstakeholders, so that the goals with respect to quality, efficiency and costs are consistently achieved.

    Core experience:
  • Ability to communicate to global stakeholders/ SLT´s and across international and distributed teams.

  • Strong Active Directory, IT Operations and/or Services Management background (> 5 years of experience in large environments > 50,000 users)

  • Familiar with IT Services (e.g. network, server services, Cloud)

  • In-depth knowledge of managed services and third parties
