IDS Senior Administrator

Are you looking for the stage in your administration career? A vacancy has arisen for a full-time Senior Administrator to join our team. The Integrated Discharge Service (IDS) is a 7 day service based at Queen Alexandra Hospital and hosts the hospitals own Discharge Services, Hampshire County Council, Portsmouth City Council, Southern Health Foundation Trust and NHS Solent. You will be a vital part of the hospitals administration team at the centre of the IDS and will find this role both challenging and rewarding and will be supported every step of the way. You will possess excellent attention to detail to ensure safe administration of patients who are being discharged with ongoing support. The duties will also involve dealing with enquiries from managers, staff and the public. It will be important that you are keen to demonstrate your customer service skills. You will be required to provide senior support to a small team of clerical staff and may need to work across departments within the IDS. You will work in a team that work across 7 days and there will be a need to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis which will attract enhanced pay.
