Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join the DCHS Hotel Services/IFM Team in the role of IFM Supervisor.

You will be based at Clay Cross Hospital and will be required to work across other areas/sites to ensure continuity of service.

As the IFM Supervisor, you will become an active member of our team working closely with other disciplines and manage domestic cleaning staff., o Day to day supervision of staffo Dealing with 'on the spot' queries-1st point of contact.o Completion of rotas, allocation for staff absences and salary returns.o Organisation of furniture moves/ad hoc requests and completion of risk assessments.o Ensuring removal and disposal of all categories of waste and linen in line with current legislationo Providing cover for other IFM supervisors. Driving within locality and wider DCHS area.o Arranging maintenance and servicing of lease vehicles/electric tugs and completion of maintenance requests and monitoring progress of workso Ensuring timely transportation and delivery of goods, supplies, and medical records.o Monitoring stocks, ordering of supplies of medical gases.o Assist the IFM Operational Coordinator with staff appraisals, induction and training.o Participating in staff interview panels.o Ensuring information is communicated in a timely and robust manner to staff.o Managing/updating records including in-house computerised systems and
local management information systems for staff and service information. o Undertaking in-house audit systems, ensuring any shortfalls are addressed/ documentedo Monitoring contracts eg window cleaning, pest control.o Co-coordinating and assisting in floor maintenance and curtain changing duties.o Ability to work times/shifts to maintain service across domestic and porter role.

We are looking for an enthusiastic team member, who is keen to learn and to develop themselves. Previous experience and knowledge of working within a domestic environment is desirable.
