Full Job Description

This is a Senior position within the highly successful Account Management Team at Ignite. The postholder will be required to drive retention and growth strategies for a cluster of clients, ensuring the business continues to provide best in class service levels, alongside increasing revenues through renewal and upsell activities. The role will come with full management responsibilities of a team of Account Managers also.

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Work alongside your team to assist in growing and retaining an existing client base

  • Create Account Development Plans and an opportunity matrix for a cluster of strategic accounts.

  • Develop upsell and cross sell targets for your team across the client book.

  • Continue to be lead Account Manager on a small number of accounts as required

  • Support the team with training and development needs where required

  • Act as initial escalation point for customers

  • Work closely with Head of Sales and Account Management on Strategic Plans, resourcing risks and SWOT across your client book

  • Create Exec Reporting pack monthly showcasing KPI attainment, and opportunity progression for customers.

  • Own the end-to-end contract process to successfully on-board customers onto new contracts or services.

  • Liaise closely with the Supply Services and Projects Team Managers regarding on-going service delivery, assisting with the resolution of any issues.

  • Contribute to monthly Account Management meetings.

  • Monitoring and support in tracking customer debt positions, ensuring any issues around late payment are resolved.

  • Attend internal and external meetings at Inspired and Client sites as required

    Energy markets and supply / metering contracts knowledge desirable

  • Team Management Experience

  • Background in Account Management or Customer Services

  • Have excellent communication skills for dealing with customers, contractors and other team members.

  • Be self-motivated and able to work as part of a team and autonomously as required

  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Excel and computer literate

  • Collaborate with a high degree of professionalism with colleagues and clients from different cultures and countries

  • Attention to detail

  • Have a passion for delivering the highest levels of service at all timesComfortable with analytical reporting and data interpretation.
