The purpose of the Brand Marketing team is to generate increased brand love, awareness and consideration in customers, encouraging existing customers to shop more with us and new customers to- consider Dunelm as a shopping destination. Our brand platform, The Home of Homes, is supported by owned channels, including ATL and organic social, as well as earned media and influencer engagement, underpinned by consistent creative and tone of voice. We work closely with the Commercial teams, Digital Trading and Digital Marketing to ensure the seamless promotion of our fantastic product offering and the work we do as a responsible retailer to support our local communities and the world in which we operate. The role of Image Editor will work on high profile projects as part of the Studio team to ensure our content is delivered on time and to a high standard of quality. Having a strong understanding of techniques and technologies and experience in creating quality imagery is key to this role. This role is a hybrid opportunity. What you'll be doing:

  • Manage daily tasks and responsibilities
  • Interpret an editing brief and ensure that work is completed according to brief.
  • Proactive and able to take own initiative and problem solve.
  • A minimal understanding of photography and photographic lighting.
  • Work closely with Photographers to help speed up workflow.
  • Assist studio floor to ensure all photography is delivered to a high level (as per brief).
  • Quality control of imagery to ensure it is consistent and meets the requirements of the business.
  • Work at pace across multiple projects to meet deadlines set by production and wider business.

  • Ability to work efficiently on a high volume of images and meet challenging deadlines.
  • Carry out ad hoc duties within the studio as required.
  • Keeping up to date with competitors.

  • Working on larger projects both internal and external with some support from senior colleagues.
  • Deputising for senior members of the team as needed.
  • Developing a strong network across SSC and the Studio to champion the department and the work that is produced within the studio.
  • Supporting junior members of team.
  • Champion colour matching accuracy in all imagery used across the business.
  • What we'll look for in you:
  • Technical proficiency in Photoshop and other image editing software, which includes;
  • + Recolouring of images + Ensuring colour accuracy between images + General cleaning of dust/scratches + Cutting out to white + Image resizing

    + Ability to do more advanced retouching and image manipulation which requires being able to match lighting and shadows, and comp multiple images together.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proactive, reliable and confident under pressure.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work as a team player and under own initiative.
