Full Job Description

Applications are invited for the post of Impact and Partnerships Manager (Social Science) in the Research and Innovation Department.
We are seeking an Impact and Partnerships Manager to lead our Social Science Impact Accelerator programme, funded by an Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). This key appointment will play a crucial role in maximising the real-world impact of Royal Holloway's world-class social science research.
You will be the first point of contact for advice on research impact and engagement activities for social scientists across the University. You'll manage funding competitions, develop partnerships, organise events, and lead on tracking and reporting our social science impact initiatives. You'll work closely with academics, professional services teams, and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent experience, with a strong background in project management and a deep understanding of the UK research ecosystem, particularly in social sciences. You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build partnerships and engage potential collaborators. Experience in organising events, creating communication materials, and managing budgets is highly desirable.
If you're passionate about bridging the gap between academia and society, we want to hear from you.
