Full Job Description

We're seeking an Implementation Manager to join our Financial Services Strategy & Operations team in Bristol. This role can also be based out of the following offices, Bracknell, Birmingham, Liverpool, Glasgow and London, As an Implementation Manager you will work as part of the Financial Services (FS) Change & Implementation team to deliver change and resolve issues across the FS division, in particular:

  • Taking a lead role in the delivery of change within the Financial Services Portfolio
  • Work in partnership with Business Process Analysts and Trainers to successfully deliver and implement change.
  • Work alongside Delivery Leads from other departments to ensure change from those Portfolios are implemented well to the Financial Services community.
  • To build a collaborative and supportive relationship with a range of Business Representatives and Sponsors across departments (including Financial Planners, Investment Managers, and Client Administrators).
  • As the Implementation Manager your responsibilities will include among others
  • Responsibility for the delivery of small, medium, and large size change, as prioritised by Financial Services
  • Manage key delivery risks and produce timely and appropriate responses to key delivery issues.
  • Regularly report on the progress of change
  • Ensure those receiving changes are informed and prepared and that items arrive at the most appropriate time possible.
  • Perform retrospectives to continually improve and learn from previous deliveries.
  • Responsible and guide the integrity of the scope of the change being delivered.
  • Assemble and direct resources from across the organisation to achieve delivery.

    Decision making & facilitation skills that can be used to assist senior members of staff with making quick and effective decisions.
  • Self-starter, uses own initiative and drives the delivery of a solution.
  • Experience of managing large scale deliveries in a highly detailed business environment
  • Relevant wealth management industry knowledge - desirable but not essential

  • Able to work effectively and collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams with resources across departments.
  • Ample focus on 'can do' and able to discuss issues in a positive and constructive manner.
