Currently we are looking for an Import Administration Assistant, to work in close association with our Import Administrator, Sales Admin team, Accounts team, Shipping department and other areas of the business.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Administrative team.

  • Ensure paperwork is kept up to date and filed correctly.

  • Archive maintenance.

  • Process IPO's and Works Order Cards.

  • Provide clearance instructions for goods that are entering the UK from abroad including adherence to IPR protocols.

  • Update the Import Database on a daily basis.

  • Conduct administration duties as directed by the Supervisor including checking and sending documents to Sales and Shipping.

  • Follow up all errors within the relevant department.

  • Clear payments for Bought Ledger when required.

  • Liaise with Sales Administration Repairs section / consignment inventory checks.

  • Assist the Supervisor with the production of reports for the Accounts Manager and internal reports within the department.

  • Processing all paperwork in a timely manner.

  • Generate workshop practices accordingly.

  • Monitoring of IPR Log and reporting to directors accordingly.

    Although relevant experience would prove advantageous, it is not essential as comprehensive training will be provided. The successful candidate will require the following:

  • Be computer literate including Excel.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

    Full Time Position

  • Hours are based on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm with half an hour each day for lunch. No weekend, evening or bank holiday working.

  • Salary commensurate with experience.

  • Free internal training provided as required.

  • Opportunities to progress, promote internally and up skill.


  • Due to the nature of the business being a manufacturing environment, working from home arrangements are not available.
