Full Job Description

We have 2 brand new vacancies for In-flight Loss Prevention Specialists to join the In-flight Loss Prevention team that supports the wider In-flight Retail (IFR) Programme. The loss Prevention function reports to the Head of Business Performance - Inflight Retail, and plays a pivotal role in protecting all revenue generated onboard through stock and payment management.

The Job

These positions will focus on loss prevention by deterring, detecting and investigating losses within this area of the business. The successful candidates will not only aid in protecting In-flight revenue by acting as a subject matter expert in this field, but they will also help create and maintain a market leading function in loss prevention.

What You Will Be Doing

In summary, as an In-flight Loss Prevention Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing initiatives and daily tasks associated with Loss Prevention as directed by the In-flight Loss Prevention Manager. You will be mainly responsible for identifying and minimising opportunities for In-flight stock and payment discrepancies to occur, in order to maximise profit

You will manage day to day loss prevention initiatives by working alongside several internal functions including our Cabin Services base management teams and key 3rd parties to reduce loss and mitigate future risks. You will monitor and challenge process compliance from supply chain through to our cabin crew. You will be expected to monitor all fraud relevant in-flight data including determining robust reporting and analysis

You will be responsible for leading intelligence led investigations and in-flight retail loss prevention activities. You will ensure that decisions during inflight loss related investigations conducted by the team or via other internal departments are consistently clear, completed in a timely manner, as well as appropriately documented with any remedial actions identified and implemented.

You will also support the In-flight Loss Prevention Manager in delivering the overall coordination of targeted In-flight retail loss prevention initiatives across the entire easyJet network

To be successful in this role you will need at least 5 years proven experience in a similar role within a travel and hospitality, commercial / retail security loss prevention environment.

Experience in Investigation techniques & Case Management and exposure to work with law enforcement agencies and legal counsel would be preferred.

You will ideally have knowledge of stock and inventory monitoring and management techniques, have the ability to interpret and evaluate data effectively and demonstrate the upmost integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

A good understanding of business legislative obligations including Employment and H.R Legislation and ideally an understanding of PACE, GDPR, DPA, Fraud, Theft and Human Rights Acts would be beneficial.

Exceptional communication skills will be crucial to the success in this position as will your ability to build relationships, negotiate and influence. You will require a balanced approach to evaluating fraud losses and prevention measures.

Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and general computing skills.

Location & Hours of Work

We have 2 full-time vacancies within our UK operation. You will be expected to be office based 3 days a week. Both positions will require extensive travel across our network as and when required which includes Europe and Switzerland. This is a full time, Mon-Fri (40 hour week) position. Some flexibility will be required at times dependant on the nature of investigations being carried out.
