Inclusion Co-ordinator

Reporting to: Assistant Headteacher of Attitudes and Behaviour

Working weeks: 39 weeks per annum (Term time plus teacher training days)

Hours per week: 37 hours per week

08.30am - 4.30pm (Monday to Thursday)

08.30am - 4.00pm (Friday

Grade: I - Points 17 - 20 (£31,364.00 - £33.945.00 full time equivalent)

Actual salary: £26,977.26 based on 39 weeks per annum, 37 hours per week + a very generous local government pension scheme.

Aylesford School Warwick is seeking to appoint an experienced firm but compassionate Inclusion Co-ordinator to support the school with a long-term absence, it is expected that this role will last for a period of 6 months or until the substantive job holder returns to post.

The Inclusion Co-ordinator will support students who need additional help with behaviour management, and time away from their regular timetable to reset their behaviour in the school's internal exclusion facility. You will report directly into the Assistant Headteacher of Attitude and Behaviour and will work alongside our Heads of Year to develop positive behaviours and attitudes so that our students are ready to be re-integrated back into their normal timetable.

Inclusion Co-ordinator will: -

- Establish positive relationships with students.

- Co-ordinate and request work for students for continuity of their learning whilst accessing the internal exclusion facility.

- Support high-profile students during their time in the internal exclusion facility to promote a calm and productive environment.

- To book students into the school's internal exclusion facility

- To maintain a high level of confidentiality

- Support safeguarding of all students and routinely update any concerns on CPOMS
